How to review imported meetings

When someone forwards a calendar invite to add@cal.goknowhere.com and Knowhere can’t tell which event it belongs to, the time is blocked immediately and the invite waits for a human call. Manager task.

  1. Open the Hub. Unmatched invites appear in the Imports to review card (“Email invites we couldn’t match to an event”), are flagged as Review imports in the Hub’s Needs attention list, and also appear in the Pending tab of All Requests.
  2. Each import shows what was forwarded: title, date and time, and who sent it in.
  3. Pick one of two actions:
    • Assign it to an event. The Add Meeting panel opens pre-filled from the invite, title, date, time, location. Confirm and it lands on that event’s schedule as a read-only imported meeting.
    • Discard it. The confirm dialog spells out the consequence: discarding removes the import from the queue and the busy-time block it placed on the forwarder’s schedule, and it can’t be undone.
  • Invites that match exactly one event skip this queue entirely and appear on that event’s schedule on their own.
  • Imported meetings are deliberately inert: greyed out, tagged External, no invites sent, no RSVPs, no new contacts created. They exist so outside meetings are visible on the schedule instead of invisible. More in Meetings & calendar invites.
