How to respond to an invite

You’ve been invited to a meeting scheduled in Knowhere and the invite is in your inbox. Responding takes one click, and you can change your mind any time. For your guests, no login needed.

  1. Open the invite email. It carries the meeting’s details plus three buttons: Accept, Maybe, and Decline.
  2. Click the one that’s true. A confirmation page opens (“You’re attending”, “You might attend”, or “You’re not attending”), and the organizing team is notified automatically.
  3. Changed your mind? Open the same page again (any of the buttons, or the invite’s manage link) and pick a different answer under Need to change your response?

Accepting or declining inside Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar works just as well. Knowhere reads your calendar’s reply and records it exactly as if you’d clicked the button.

  • Don’t reply to the invite email with a typed message; that address only tracks RSVP responses. The invite names the meeting owner and their real email for anything that needs a human.
  • Declining keeps you on the guest list in case plans change. If you’re out for good, or the time truly doesn’t work, see Request a new time.
