How to customize your booking emails
When someone requests a meeting through your public booking page, they can get an email confirming you received it, and another when you approve or decline. The wording of all three (plus the default reason shown on a decline) is yours to edit, company-wide or per event. Manager task.
Set your company’s defaults
Section titled “Set your company’s defaults”- Open your profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar and click Settings, then the Company tab, then the Email section.
- Turn on Send a confirmation email when a request is submitted if you want requesters to get an acknowledgement the moment they ask. It’s off by default.
- Edit the Submission message, Approval message, and Decline message text, and set a default decline reason to pre-fill when you decline a request without typing your own note.
- Changes save automatically and become every new event’s starting point.
Override it for one event
Section titled “Override it for one event”- Open the event, click Configure, then Sharing, then the Email section.
- The same four fields appear here, starting blank. Fill in any of them to override just that field for this event; leave the rest blank to keep using the company default.
- A label on this page reminds you these settings override the company defaults, not replace them everywhere.
