How to add notes and generate a Debrief

Notes capture what happened in a meeting. The Debrief rolls those notes into a clean summary you can paste into your CRM. Anyone on the meeting can add notes. Generating a Debrief is a manager action on higher plans.

  1. Open the meeting and scroll to the Notes section.
  2. Click the Add Note box at the bottom and type what happened.
  3. To notify a teammate, type @ and their name. They get an email.
  4. Click Add Note. Your note appears at the top with your name and a timestamp. Hover a note to Edit or Delete your own.
  1. In the same Notes section, once the meeting has at least one note, click Generate Debrief in the top-right (managers only).
  2. Knowhere reads the notes and adds a structured summary (key wins, achievements, risks, and follow-ups) as a read-only entry.
  3. Copy it with one click and paste it into your CRM, a follow-up email, or a pipeline review. Generating again replaces it with a fresh summary of the current notes.

Debriefs show up in the “Recent Debriefs” widgets and in each account’s history, and the event wrap-up checklist flags meetings still missing one. See Meeting notes & The Debrief.
