How to check people in

Check-in records who actually showed up, turning your schedule into an attendance record. You can check people in from the meeting itself, and attendees can self-check-in at the kiosk. Manager task (from the meeting).

  1. Open the meeting (from the Schedule, a meeting list, or a dashboard) and click the Check In tab. A counter at the top shows “X / Y checked in”.
  2. Under Present, click the circle next to each person who attended. A green check means present.
  3. Optional: under Lead, click the star next to a customer contact to flag them for follow-up.
  4. Someone showed up who wasn’t on the list? Click Add person to register a walk-in (name, title, company, email, and you can star them as a lead).
  5. To check everyone in at once, click All at the top.
  6. The Internal section below does the same for your team.

When every expected attendee is checked in, Knowhere records the attendance summary automatically (who attended, walk-ins, and no-shows).

At the booth, an attendee enters the six-character code from their calendar invite, picks their name, and confirms. Set the kiosk up first with Launch the check-in kiosk.

Attendance feeds your event wrap-up (no-shows to chase), your lead counts, and each account’s history. See Check-in & the kiosk.
